Saturday arrived sunny and bright and the journey down to the course was quick and painless. The course was in good condition and the greens were running true, but they were very firm and didn't hold, especially if you were coming in with a long club. The journey back was another matter, I'm guessing a lot of people decided they would come back a day early to avoid the rush and because of that we were stationary for long periods.
There were 8 of us and the top 3 all came from the 1st 4 ball. There were 3 people on 28 points tied 4th, Mark Brough came in 3rd with 33 points, I had 34 and in 1st place with 35 was Mike Harvey. Well played!
Next month, 21 March, we are playing Royal Island, teeing off at 12 and the cost is 2,450,000 vnd, including caddy but no lunch. The coach will leave the Aussie Bar at 9.15am, please let me know as soon as possible if you are playing and coming on the coach.
